The body as a process and practice of experimentation, as a gym of freedom.

Inhabiting and cohabiting are not given conditions, but practices in continuous adjustment.
Fluid forms of being, redefining themselves every time one body meets another and together they shape a landscape.
The festival, part of the multi-year project Ecotonalità, moves within this tension: inhabiting as a mobile experience, as a practice of crossing living thresholds, where bodies and space connect, transform, intermingle, and redefine one another in a continuous movement between the visible and the invisible, the human and the non-human, that which is given and that which escapes. A being-with that builds itself in the time of the gesture, in listening to the distance between bodies, in the porosity of boundaries, in the freedom of desire from social functions and constraints.
In the Park of Villa del Grumello—a liminal space par excellence, suspended between city and wilderness, architecture and lake—cohabiting becomes an exercise in mutual transformation where the landscape is not a backdrop, but an interlocutor and an other body to relate to and belong to.

Performances, encounters, and workshops, featuring leading Italian dance companies alongside emerging talents in contemporary dance and dance theater, to inhabit Villa del Grumello together as a shared space of research and crossing.
